Three days after declining his mutual option and briefly testing the market, Woodruff chose security in Milwaukee, agreeing to the Brewers’ $22.025 million qualifying offer. The decision keeps the club’s longest-tenured arm atop the rotation, who boasts a 3.20 ERA in 2025, for at least one more year and delays a full dive into free agency until after next season.
