Braves Place Robert Suarez on Injured List With Forearm Tightness
Suarez was placed on the 15-day IL retroactive to June 23. The two-time All-Star has been unavailable for the last few days, and skipper Walt Weiss has downplayed the extent of the injury. Suarez has a 0.56 ERA with four saves and 12 holds through 32 innings this season, the lowest ERA in MLB among pitchers with 3+ frames.
