Atlanta’s spring took a hit as Schwellenbach will open on the 60-day IL with right elbow inflammation, Mark Bowman reported. The Braves think it might just be bone spurs, but he’ll miss at least two months. The 25-year-old posted a 3.35 ERA in 123 2/3 innings as a 2024 rookie, then opened 2025 with a 3.09 ERA in 17 starts.
