Brewers Manager Pat Murphy Reveals Plans for Back Surgery and Hip Procedure
Murphy plans to have back surgery on Thursday and a procedure on his hip during the All-Star break. He said the discomfort in his back is related to the hip issue. "I can't live like that. I'm having the surgery so it works out good." Murphy doesn't expect to miss any games. The Brewers lead the NL Central with 45-29.
