Brian Cashman Weighs ‘Challenge Trades’ As Jazz Chisholm Jr. Draws Interest

ESPN’s Jeff Passan reported that the Yankees have listened to Chisholm after the Winter Meetings, as Cashman weighed “challenge trades.” Cashman called the lineup’s left-handed tilt “a problem,” but praised the All-Star second baseman’s 31 homers, 31 steals and 4.4 fWAR despite an oblique strain. Chisholm, a free agent after 2026, has said he’d “want to be a Yankee” long-term.
