Brian Snitker Bids Farewell as Braves Manager, Embraces Advisor Role

“Give me a minute,” Snitker began, saying he’d planned this as his last year. After decompressing, he decided the timing was right: “If you wait to retire till you’re ready, you never will.” He thanked players, staff, and fans, “once a Brave, always a Brave,” and promised presence in spring training. He’ll stay with Braves as an advisor.
