Brian Windhorst Says Knicks Were in Position to Land Giannis Antetokounmpo

Windhorst revealed the Knicks had a real shot at acquiring Antetokounmpo before the Bucks recommitted. “Giannis basically said he wanted to be a Knick,” Windhorst said, adding that New York’s offer “wasn’t good enough.” He explained the team chose to double down on its current roster instead. “They believe in this team,” he said.
