Bronny James' Nike 'B9' Logo Trademark Application Has Been Denied

Nike's trademark application for Bronny's "B9" logo, a lowercase "b" with a "9" in the middle, has been refused due to a "likelihood of confusion" with Back9 Golf Apparel's existing mark from Austin, Texas, per USPTO documents. Nike applied in February. James has worn the logo-adorned shoes multiple times this season, with Nike posting images on April 12.
