Brooks Lee Sparks Twins With First-Inning Three-Run Blast

Brooks Lee gave Minnesota an immediate spark, launching a three-run homer off Jack Leiter in the first inning to put the Twins ahead 4-0. The blast was Lee’s 12th of the season and traveled 365 feet at 104.3 mph. He entered play batting .239 with 11 homers and 39 RBIs, according to ESPN, as Texas’ starter struggled early in opener.
