Bruce Meyer: Lockout "Almost Guaranteed" After Detroit Tigers Meeting

After meeting team players in spring training, the interim union chief warned a lockout when the current CBA expires is “almost guaranteed.” On a possible salary cap, he said it would be “bad for players.” He added the union will keep negotiating but prepares members for a hard bargaining round ahead and urged unity and readiness now to face talks.
