Buccaneers Believe Baker Mayfield Won’t Get a Better Contract Elsewhere

Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio reported the Buccaneers believe the contract extension they plan to offer Mayfield before his July 28 deadline will exceed anything another team would offer. Florio added Tampa Bay expects Mayfield to accept the deal. However, the analyst suggested the quarterback could test free agency or even take less elsewhere “just to stick it to the Buccaneers.”
