Raleigh crushed his 51st homer, extending his catcher record and closing on Mantle’s 54 for switch-hitters. The 371-foot blast tied Todd Hundley for second-most in a season by a catcher at 41 behind Javy López’s 42. Raleigh is also five shy of Griffey Jr.’s Mariners record of 56. He leads MLB by two over Kyle Schwarber.
