Cameron Boozer Sweeps USBWA’s Top Player and Freshman Awards

Cameron Boozer swept US Basketball Writers Association’s top honors, winning both Oscar Robertson Trophy and Wayman Tisdale Award after a dominant freshman season at Duke. The forward became the second straight Blue Devil to claim both awards after Cooper Flagg. Boozer entered the Sweet 16 averaging 22.4 points, 10.3 rebounds and 4.2 assists for the ACC regular-season and tournament champions.
