Cardinals Designate Jared Shuster for Assignment Again

Shuster signed a minor league deal with the Cardinals before the season. He owns a 9.00 ERA after allowing nine earned runs in nine innings across five appearances. The lefty was hammered for seven earned runs in 1.1 innings during Tuesday's doubleheader. This is the third time St. Louis has designated him for assignment after clearing waivers twice.
