Cardinals RB James Conner to Undergo Season-Ending Ankle Surgery

Conner was carted off with a right ankle injury in Sunday’s 16-15 loss to the 49ers. Adam Schefter reported the 30-year-old will need season-ending surgery pending Monday’s tests. Injured on a third-quarter 1-yard run, Conner had nine carries for 22 yards. Coming off back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons, he signed a two-year extension in 2024 with a $3.64M guaranteed base salary.
