Carlos Alcaraz Enters Rare ATP No. 1 Club at 22

Alcaraz starts his 50th career week at ATP No. 1, becoming the 14th man to hit that mark since rankings began in 1973. His six stints include a 20-week first run (Sept. 12, 2022–Jan. 29, 2023). At 22, he’s the third-youngest to 50 weeks, behind Lleyton Hewitt and Jim Courier. He called it “my goal of the year.”
