Carlos Alcaraz Joins Rare Club With Second Year-End No. 1 Before 23

Beating Lorenzo Musetti 6-4, 6-1 to sweep the Jimmy Connors group, Alcaraz clinched year-end No. 1 and a Turin semifinal. At 22, he’s only the second player with multiple year-end No. 1 finishes before turning 23—since ATP rankings began in 1973—joining Lleyton Hewitt (2001–02). Alex de Minaur advanced as runner-up.
