Carlos Correa Claims MLB, Astros and Scott Boras Nixed Bad Bunny’s WBC Insurance Plan

Per Chandler Rome, Correa said Bad Bunny offered to pay for private insurance so he could play for Puerto Rico in the 2026 World Baseball Classic. Correa added MLB, the Astros and agent Scott Boras “did not approve it." The Puerto Rican federation also couldn’t finish the required medical evaluations in time for the insurance process, leaving Correa unavailable.
