Cason Wallace’s Future With the Thunder Could Be in Doubt After Isiah Hartenstein’s Deal

Jake Weinbach stated that with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren, and Isaiah Hartenstein all signed to long-term contracts, Cason Wallace's long-term future may be away from OKC. Wallace is due for a rookie extension that the Thunder may not be able to afford. Cason averaged 8.6ppg, 2.6apg, and 1.9 steals per game in 2025-26, earning All-Defensive Second Team honors.
