CBS, TNT Post Best Opening Day in NCAA Tournament History
Thursday’s men’s tournament opener averaged 9.8 million viewers nationwide across CBS, TBS, TNT, and truTV, making it the most-watched first-round opening day ever. The primetime window, led by Michigan-Howard and VCU-North Carolina, drew 12.5 million viewers, also a record. Overall tournament viewership is averaging 9.3 million viewers so far, up 5% from last year.

"After being in this business for 37 years and to have to be in this particular bracket every freakin' year is unacceptable," said Felisha after Syracuse's 98-45 blowout loss to UConn in the Round of 32.
