College football reporter Andrew Cherico, who was born with spinal muscular atrophy, says a few words from Coach Prime “changed his life.” After a UCF-Colorado game, Sanders stopped mid-answer to tell Cherico, “I’m proud of you and your resilience.” The young reporter later said Sanders’ kindness inspired him to keep chasing his dreams.
