CFL to Shrink Field, Move Goalposts, Extend Play Clock in Major Rule Changes

The CFL will shrink its field from 110 to 100 yards, reduce end zones to 15 yards, and move goalposts to the back. The play clock extends from 20 to 35 seconds, while the benches stay opposite for substitutions. Commissioner Stewart Johnston said the changes will boost scoring, though players like QB Nathan Rourke called them “garbage.”
