Chargers Release Mekhi Becton, Save $9.7M in Cap Space
The Chargers are releasing guard Mekhi Becton in a cost-cutting move that saves $9.7 million against the cap, per ESPN. Becton, who signed a two-year, $20 million deal last offseason, battled injuries and voiced frustration during 2025.
