Chase Elliott Crashes At Bristol, Putting Playoff Hopes in Jeopardy

Elliott sustained damage to the front end of his #9 Chevrolet on Lap 311 in Stage 3 of the Bristol eliminator. The wreck occurred when he appeared to cut down in front of John Hunter Nemechek, who was getting pushed into the corner by Denny Hamlin. Elliott came into his pit, and his car was later pushed behind the wall.
