Chicago Bears Choose Indiana Over Illinois for $5 Billion Stadium Project

The Bears are formally moving forward with a planned $5 billion domed stadium and mixed-use development in Hammond, Indiana. Owner George McCaskey and president/CEO Kevin Warren said Friday that the team's board of directors has voted to advance the project. “It will bring Chicagoland together and deliver new opportunities,” they said amid Illinois silence on creating legislation.
