Chicago Bears Officially End Attempts to Stay in Chicago Due to Lack of Viable Sites

“The Bears have exhausted every opportunity to stay in Chicago. There is no viable site in the city,” the team statement read. “As a result, the only sites under consideration are in Arlington Heights and Hammond,” it added. The Bears own a 326-acre property at the former Arlington International Racecourse. Meanwhile, Indiana’s Governor has expressed strong optimism that the team will relocate there.
