Chiefs Set to Hire C.J. Cox as Defensive Quality Control Coach
The Kansas City Chiefs are expected to hire veteran defensive backs coach C.J. Cox as a quality control coach, per Pete Thamel. Cox will work closely with the secondary after recent stops at Coastal Carolina, UAB, and Kent State. He previously gained NFL experience through the Bill Walsh Diversity Fellowship with the Chiefs (2022–23) and Rams (2024).
