Christian McCaffrey Brushes Off Concerns Over Workload Management
“I’ve been dealing with those questions for nine years,” McCaffrey said. “The workload in our sport is really monitored in practice, not in games. We play 17 regular-season games a year, and everybody’s livelihood is on the line. I would say on Sunday, you’ve got to do whatever it takes to win, and that’s not a coach’s job.” McCaffrey will turn 30 next week.

49ers OL Colton McKivitz Has Zero Regrets About Staying With The 49ers
McKivitz has zero regrets about re-signing rather than testing free agency. "My goal never was to be the highest paid," McKivitz said. "The grass isn't always greener," he added. "I saw a lot of guys not get paid in free agency. I want to be on that 10-year wall." Colton signed a 3-year, $45 million extension with the 49ers through the 2028 season.
