Cole Custer's Crew Member Ejected After Pre-Race Inspection Failures

Team engineer Marc Hendricksen was ejected from Gateway after the #41 car could not pass inspection twice. The team lost its pit selection for Sunday’s 240-lapper at the WWWT. Custer, who was earlier announced as Haas Factory Team's driver for the Cup series in 2026, starts 29th at Gateway. The former SHR driver is currently 33rd in the standings.
