Cole Hutson Wins Temporary Court Order Against NCAA

Former Texas offensive lineman Cole Hutson won a temporary restraining order in his lawsuit against the NCAA, allowing him to immediately resume college football activities. Hutson is seeking a fifth year of eligibility for the 2026 season. A preliminary injunction hearing will follow, while On3 reported a return to Texas “is not out of the question” if he ultimately plays.
