College Football World Mourns as Shawn Clark Passes Away at 50

UCF offensive line coach Shawn Clark died Sunday at age 50 after a Sept. 9 medical emergency. Clark went 40-24 in five seasons at App State before joining UCF in 2025. UCF’s Scott Frost called him “a remarkable man, husband, and father.” South Carolina coach Shane Beamer also paid tribute, recalling camp conversations and offering condolences to Clark’s family.
