Morikawa’s season of changes continued in Napa, this time with gear. After multiple caddie swaps and putter experiments, he debuted a TaylorMade Spider Tour V center-shafted prototype and a P-DHY driving iron in place of his 4-iron. The putter improved his stroke consistency, while the utility iron carried 215 yards. He’s four under through two rounds.
