Colts Officially Sign 44-Year-Old Philip Rivers to Practice Squad

The Colts have signed Rivers to their practice squad after a Monday workout, as per reports. With Daniel Jones (Achilles) out for the year, Anthony Richardson (orbital fracture) on IR and Riley Leonard (knee) week-to-week, Indianapolis had no healthy QB available. Rivers, a 421-TD, 63,440-yard passer and 2026 Hall of Fame semifinalist, now becomes their emergency option.
