Commanders Pay Tribute to Washington Post Sports Reporters With Empty Seats

The Commanders left three empty seats at their press conference to honor Washington Post sports reporters recently laid off amid newsroom cuts. Head coach Dan Quinn called them “true pros,” adding their absence is a major loss for the team and the city. The gesture comes after the Post eliminated its entire sports section earlier this month citing severe financial losses.
