Commanders Select HKS to Design New $2.7B Stadium at Historic RFK Site

The Commanders have selected HKS — the design firm behind SoFi, AT&T, and U.S. Bank Stadiums as lead architect for their new $2.7B RFK-site home. Team president Mark Clouse said HKS will deliver a “world-class, community-driven” venue, while HKS vowed to revive the RFK roar in a modern 65,000-seat, roofed stadium. Construction begins in 2027, with completion targeted for 2030.
