Manfred succeeded Bud Selig as commissioner in 2015. "I’m done at the end of this contract, I’ve told them that. I’m going to stick to that. I’ll be 70." His contract ends in 2029. "You take your best shot, try to get as much done as possible; then it’s time for the next guy with his set of things."
