Connecticut Sun Sold to the Fertitta Family as Rockets Owners Bring WNBA Back to Houston

The Ferttita family, owners of the Rockets, are being back the WNBA to Houston, having purchased the Connecticut Sun for $300 million. The team will play its final season in 2026, before the relocation happens, per Alexa Philippou. The team is expected to be renamed the Houston Comets, bringing back the beloved team that once dominated the WNBA.
