Cooper Flagg Warming Up Before His Return vs. Magic
Flagg missed the Mavs' last 8 games with a left midfoot sprain. He was seen taking shots during pregame warmups ahead of his return vs. Magic. Flagg will be restricted to 20-25 minutes and could play the second game of the back-to-back as well, vs. Celtics, depending on how he's feeling. However, the Mavs might be cautious with Flagg.

LeBron James Goes Down With Elbow Injury
At the 4:05 mark of the 4th with the game within 6 points, James went up for a layup, challenging Jokic. He drained it for his 16th point but went down hard, hitting his elbow. He stayed on the ground in pain before a timeout was called by the Lakers. He's wouldn't return immediately, being replaced by Hayes.

Nikola Jokic Leads Nuggets to Nail-Biting 7-Point Win vs. Lakers
Jokic dropped 28 points, 12 rebounds and 13 assists to lead the Nuggets to a 120-113 win vs. Lakers. In the final seconds, Jokic drained 2 clutch free throws to seal the win. Despite the Lakers giving Denver a tough fight in the second half, it wasn't enough. Jamal Murray dropped 28 points, playing a crucial role in the win.

Luka Doncic Sinks Unbelievable 3-Point Bank Shot vs. Nuggets
Late in the third quarter, Doncic sank an unbelievable step-back 3-pointer off the glass. It kept the Lakers in the game, and gave them hope going into the 4th quarter. However, Doncic's incredible shot couldn't help the Lakers get a win, succumbing to the Nuggets 120-113. Doncic dropped 27 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists in the losing effort.
