Cori Close Saw “Quit” in LSU Players’ Eyes, Knew UCLA Would Win After the 3rd Quarter

Close stated that after the third quarter, she felt UCLA was going to win the NCAA title. Even before that, when UCLA dominated the 2nd quarter, Close believed they had a chance. "I thought their players had some quit in their eyes," Close said. By 4th quarter's start, UCLA was up 31 and she knew UCLA had it.
