Cowboys Secure Arlington Stay Through 2055 After $273M Stadium Deal

Arlington has approved a lease extension beyond 2040, keeping Dallas at AT&T Stadium through 2055, while allocating $273 million in venue taxes for upgrades. The Cowboys, however, must spend at least $750 million themselves on improvements per the new agreement. Mayor Jim Ross said voters had “already had that say,” while critics argued taxpayers deserved another vote.
