Cowboys Special Teams Captain C.J. Goodwin Retires

Veteran special teams standout C.J. Goodwin has announced his retirement from the NFL. The 36-year-old spent the past eight seasons with the Cowboys, serving as a special teams captain in 2025. Goodwin appeared in 136 career games after entering the league as an undrafted free agent in 2014, finishing with 94 tackles, two forced fumbles and two passes defended.
