Cristiano Ronaldo Becomes Oldest Outfield Player in World Cup History
Ronaldo made history as Portugal's oldest outfield player in World Cup action at 41 years and 132 days against DR Congo on Monday. Only Scotland goalkeeper Craig Gordon, 43 years and 162 days, is older in the tournament. Seven players over 40 are competing in the entire World Cup contingent. This is Ronaldo's sixth World Cup tour.
