D.C. City Council Approves Commanders’ $3.8 Billion Stadium Project

The plan includes a 65,000-seat stadium on the RFK site, slated to open in 2030. The vote passed 11–2. Public money will cover about $1.1 billion. “An NFL stadium by itself is not a good investment.
