Dan Skipper Gets Real on NFL Retirement: “It Takes It Outta Ya”

Former Lions OT Dan Skipper explained his decision to retire, saying, “It was time.” Skipper said his body “just couldn’t do it anymore,” adding, “When you can’t even sit down on the couch, you’re laying on the floor for three months every night, it takes it outta ya.” He credited family support, saying they “had my back through everything.”
