Daniel Gafford Out for 2–3 Weeks With Ankle Injury

Gafford sprained his ankle during the Mavericks' first training camp practice, according to head coach Jason Kidd. His availablity for the Mavs' season opener on October 22nd is now in question. On a more positive note, Anthony Davis is cleared to play, barring any further setbacks. Gafford agreed a 3-year contract extension in June after averaging 12.3ppg last season.
