David Robertson Announces Retirement After 17 Seasons in the MLB

After 2025 with the Phillies, Robertson, 40, announced his retirement on Friday. The 2011 All-Star won the World Series with the Yankees in 2009, the last active MLB player to do so. Robertson helped Team USA win the 2017 World Baseball Classic and was also part of the silver-medal team in the Summer Olympic Games in 2021.
