David Stearns Sees ‘Chance’ In Craig Kimbrel’s Mets Camp Invite

Stearns said this week, “We’re excited to have Craig,” citing late-2025 Triple-A and MLB success after the Mets signed Kimbrel to a minor-league deal. The 37-year-old posted a 3.00 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 51 K in 39 innings in Double/Triple-A. “Want to go out there and compete,” Kimbrel said as he’s fighting for a Mets bullpen spot in 2026.
