"He tricked me," DeRozan said of Popovich. "I remember my first shootaround when I got to San Antonio. Pop told everybody I'm the point guard. I had never played point guard in my life." The move paid off, DeRozan averaged a career-high 6.2 assists in San Antonio, up from 3.6 for his career entering that trade.
