Deion Sanders Says He Feels “Cancer-Free” One Year After Surgery

Colorado coach and NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders said he considers himself "cancer-free" one year after surgery to remove his cancerous bladder. "Last year at this time I was in a whole different place, and I'm just thankful," Sanders told the Associated Press. Sanders, who underwent a robotic procedure that reconstructed his bladder, called the surgery his "time machine" and said it "got me back in the game."
