Denny Hamlin Reveals the Real Cost of Running 23XI in Trial Testimony
Hamlin testified that it cost over $20 million to operate one car over a 38-race season, excluding overhead expenses like driver salary. The JGR driver also revealed that due to mid-season rule changes and international races, costs increase by almost $1.5 million per car. 23XI operates with 140 employees, a team much smaller than other Cup teams, Hamlin revealed.
